DESCRIPTION: FASHIONED OF A MOST VIBRANT PRINT SILK IN RICH FLORAL PATTERNS.
SLEEVES ARE IN GABRIELLE STYLE WITH HEAVY RUCHED GATHERING AT THE TOP ARM WITH GATHERING ABOVE THE ANGLED BOTTOM BELL CUFF THAT IS FINISHED IN TWO ROWS OF BLACK SILK AND AN INNER BELL OF BLACK SILK CHANTILLY LACE.
So Rock n Roll Victorian this is one of my new favorite pieces!

BELTING IS TRIMMED IN BRASS BUCKLES WITH JET JEWELS AT SIDES AND REAR WITH THE BACK ONE RECTANGULAR IN SHAPE.
BOTTOM SWEEP IS TRIMMED IN THE BLACK SILK LACE RUFFLES. SILK SATIN BOW WITH TAILS TRIMS THE FRONT HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE.
INTERIOR IS FULLY BONED THROUGHOUT.
THERE IS SOME SMALL SPLITS TO THE SILK ON THE RIGHT SIDE COLLAR, NOTE THE IMAGES. THE BELL SLEEVES HAVE SOME TEARS TO THE BLACK LACE WITH ONE HAVING A LARGE STRAIGHT REPAIR, HARD TO NOTE WHEN WORN OR DISPLAYED AS IS.
THE JET BUCKLE ON THE REAR IS MISSING SOME OF THE JET JEWELS.
SUCH A VERY UNUSUAL AND FANCIFUL ANTIQUE EARLY EDWARDIAN JACKET.
