La Belle Époque Velvet Dress Tiered

This gorgeous as-found vintage dress from "the beautiful era" is very unique.

This piece reminds me of the old image of a woman with a riding crop. 

The skirt is tiered and has a medium sized opening to step in.  Opens to about a 39. The top part however, small (very small thru the shoulders / arms)  the bottom skirt is a medium. I had thought about reworking to make it larger but I honestly hated to cut this dress as it's so wonderful.  It also has a slit in the front of the neck to make larger. Missing two snaps in the front.

Probably most would use as a study dress but it's totally wearable maybe who ever buys can tweak the top to fit. 

What I really love is the beading and embroidery down the front that has that exquisite Arts and Crafts vibe.

Deep cranberry or Maroon. It did fit my model who is 5'10 size 2 and it was big in the hips
