Description
This is cool! It was most likely a costume however its old probably 30's it's all organdy, a two piece with appliqued possibly lightly glued? I'm not sure, silver paper stars everywhere.. The top is in a bolero style, with long split sleeves, no fasteners. The sleeves are amazing the top is cropped fit.
The skirt is in an overlay style, with pleats at the waist, short in the front, with a train, no fasteners.
The skirt has a 25" waist, the bodice are all about the same, fitting pretty well on my model, which has a 34" bust, 25" waist, and a 15" shoulder span in back.
The organdy comes with a few spots, some pinholes.
The skirt has some brownish spotting, plus some overall discoloration, ask me to show in the photos.
This is probably an original 30's piece made into a costume at some point.
I just loved it despite its discoloration.
